Google Hacking

Google Hacking is not a bad thing, but I thought I should cover a little bit of it. Seems there are a lot of people in some of the forums I frequent who do not know about some of the ways you can structure your queries to get more useful information. I would think the first thing internet marketers would do is to learn how to dig into the web. Without this information then you are going to be destined to trying to succeed and you may do okay, but you are not going to be able to do as well as you could nor or you going to be able to truly innovate in your IM business. Link Exchange Requests and how to get them

Link Exchanges have been something that is on my radar lately especially since I’ve just launched this blog and I don’t have a lot of traffic as of yet. The search genies are starting to pick me up and I’ve received a decent amount of traffic from efforts in the forum of Social Bookmarking and forum marketing. I’m not really planning on starting a extensive traffic drive until I get the content built up a little more and I finalize what plugins and theme I want to utilize. This will also give me enough time to build out some useful content for visitors and keep them coming back. [Read more...]

WP-Revealed –WordPress tutorial

I’ve just got started using WordPress and I’m still catching up. I ran across a product that explains the process of managing aWordpress installation at The Wp-Revealed site and it looks interesting so I may just decide to purchase this to keep my learning curve down. The eBook looks interesting and it comes with a couple of open source plugins to allow some additional functionality in WordPress.

I’ve also been reading up on Darren Rowse’s series on building a better blog. I really want to build this blog out to a useful resource for everyone. Whether it remains on the topic of Internet Marketing or I delve into other areas, I definitely need to make sure I’m taking advantage of Word Presses valuable features. I don’t really care if this blog earns the amount of money that Darren Rowse or Steve Pavlina earns with their blogs, but I would like to earn enough to pay the hosting fees and maybe take my wife out to dinner every once in a while.
