Writing for Digg

Copy Blogger has an interesting post made by Muhammad Saleem Who I have not hear of previously but really seems to know his stuff when it comes to Writing for Digg. Muhammad makes some very good points about this subject. If you have not picked up Copyblogger today you may want to take a read.

The main point of the post is to not alienate your users and only try to write for Digg. Its been my experience is that while Digg can send you an enormous amount of traffic in a short amount of time most of the time those visitors don’t really help your site other than to increase your bandwidth costs. My Top Ten WordPress plugins

I’m convinced that WordPress is the best blogging platform on the planet. While some people think its hard to use, I’ve found it very easy to setup and utilize as a platform straight out of the box or zip file would be more accurate, but the main power of the WordPress platform is the ability to easily modify its functionality with plugins and themes. You can add features and change the entire look of your blog in just a few minutes by just uploading a few files and activating them.

Four reasons Technorati is losing its edge

I read yesterday about Technorati’s new look. The site was pretty much down all yesterday so I could not look at it. While some may think their move is a good thing, I’m not so sure. I could be proved wrong and time will only tell if I’m right or wrong about my assumptions.
