eCommerce is the wave of the future, and it is very difficult for an eCommerce business to be successful without a good web hosting service. As the proprietor of a web hosting business, your website is everything. It is your calling card and the portal to your goods and/or services. Without it, there is no business.

What eCommerce Web Hosting Means to You

That’s why it is so important to have an eCommerce web host that has what you need, specifically, the willingness and ability to help you set up a great site that is easy for your clients to use and easy for you to modify to meet the needs of an ever-changing client base.

Linking Analytics and Adsense to Earn More Money

I’ve been playing around with testing some new Adsense ads on some of my sites. Anyone who has utilized Adsense should know that to receive the highest paying ads and CTR, then you must test. Testing with various colors and placement is paramount to the success you will have with Adsense. This testing has always pretty much been a trial and error thing for me as I’ve never wanted to install any type of third party code to test Adsense conversions. I know there is software out there that will let you track clicks, but I’ve always thought this was against the Adsense rules and I don’t break the rules with Adsense.

This has been around for a while, but I never took advantage of it until the other day. Its possible to link your Adsense account to Google Analytics and you get a lot better information to help you with your testing. I don’t know why I’ve never taken advantage of this as the information is very valuable. This is especially true if you are running some type of dynamic generated site such as wordpress. If you have multiple categories on your blog and you decide to place Adsense within a widget on your sidebar, you can’t really see which of these categories are working the best to earn you money. You could set up a plugin or PHP code to change ads based on your category and use channels which is an effective method of seeing which category is performing the best, but this is not for most people as you need to have a decent knowledge of PHP code to set this up. Of course you still don’t know if a particular article in the category is performing better.Well this problems are solved by integrating your Analytics and Adsense accounts.

Once the accounts are integrated and you add the required code to your templates, then you get a lot more information. You can tell at a glance exactly which pages are performing the best on your site. If you have a page that is really doing well with conversions, then perhaps you want to create more of those type posts. Or a better item would be to highlight that post more on your blog or do some special promotion at a particular page to possibly improve its position in the search engines. Perhaps you can even find new niches within your own blogs which are something you can use to build an entire new blog around.

I’ve only been using this a few days and its probably going to take a while before I get real solid data for trending analysis and learn exactly how to analyze what its telling me, but I’m sure this is going to be an invaluable tool to help me grow my adsense revenue on several of my sites. If you are struggling to earn money with Adsense, then this may be another tool you can use to improve your Adsense earnings.
