Trying out new theme
I thought I would try out a new theme on this blog and see how it looks. I ran across DeepBlue from DailyBlogTips and thought I would give it a try. i need to tweak it some and it seems to have some issues with display in IE7, but works great in Firefox.
I may have to back up and try something else, but I’m going to give this a little time to work out the kinks as I think it looks a lot better than the Semiologic theme I was running. As I’ve worked on increasing this blog’s audience I’ve found more and more things about the Semiologic theme that I just did not like. Its a very powerful theme system, I say system because Semiologic is a lot more than just a theme, but it does not seem to play well with a lot of other plugins. As a result, It’s been a lot harder to make the changes I’ve wanted to make.
Hopefully I can work these layout issues out and start modifying this theme to meet my needs.

Can’t remember what your blog looked like before, but it sure looks smooth now. Nice one! Though I would change the color of the orange links (blue bg) on the sidebar for the sake of readability.
I’m going to make some more changes to the way it looks, at the moment there are some issues with the style sheet on IE7 and it does not layout properly when viewing the main page. Once I get that worked out I’m going to modify some of the other elements and the menu was definitely one of the areas I was going to look at changing some As well as I need to look at those links on the right.
