Yuwie Make money Social Networking site

I’ve seen this around for a while, but I just got around to actually signing up for an account. Yuwie is a social networking site much like MySpace of Facebook, but this site actually allows you to earn a portion of the revenue your traffic generates for the site. This is not a new concept as it has been done before with varying websites and programs. I think one of the main difference with Yuwie is people actually get paid. I’ve talked to a few of my associates who are already generating several hundred dollars a month with the service and they have only been in a couple of months. Of course I can’t promise you will do the same, but if you can build up a decent team then who knows.

I figured I would give this a shot. I’ve got a few ideas for generating some leads. One of which is posting here. Yes those are affiliate links and if you join through one of them you will be come part of my team. There are some fairly savy marketers jumping on board here and there will be resources coming down the pipe to help people with attracting new members.

I’m betting most people who are reading this already have a built up profile that can be used to start building your team. It was just a year or so ago that MySpace was all the rage and many people where earning a lot of affiliate revenue from their friends list on MySpace. Well Myspace started cracking down and it got tough to send out your broadcasts. Well perhaps many of you still have some of those MySpace accounts. That is prime ground for attracting people to your team as Yuwie has many of the same features as MySpace and Facebook has. Plus wouldn’t it be great to give all your friends an avenue to actually earn a little of the money the generate for MySpace and Facebook. After all what do you have to lose? Setting up an account is free and it is really easy to use. There is a video that will explain exactly how it works so you cna make up your own mind. While the money you can earn initially won’t be a lot, but I would bet if you had just one MySpace account with a 100 friends then you would be able to improve those initial numbers in a hurry. What do you have to lose but a little time? Watch the video now.

WordPress 2.5 Released

WordPress 2.5 That was pretty painless Well WordPress 2.5 has  finally been released. I’ve seen the screenshots of 2.5 on various sites for a couple of weeks now. Well I just upgraded and the screen shots did not do the application justice. The new interface is so easy to get around. Took a couple of minutes before  I found everything, but once  I did find it I can say its a lot easier  to navigate.

The media gallery looks fairly cool. I’m not sure how much I will use that functionality because I blog using Windows Live Writer and very rarely utilize the posting functions of wordpress any longer. I may have to make a couple of posts from the back end just to see how it works out.

I also noticed they is a new book on Amazon around WordPress 2.5. I looked through the table of contents and it mostly looks like its tailored towards beginning users. Afterall it is one of the For Dummies series which does not mean a lot, but in my experience these books tend to lean more towards the just learning platform. Looks like there is not a lot on building plugins and only a couple of small chapters on modifying themes. I may run by the bookstore and see if I can lay my hands on it. Depending on what is inside I may pick up a copy. If it could really explain building plugins in a no nonsense manner then I would definitely buy a copy.

Improving your earnings with PLR content

Lots of people shy away from PLR content for their websites. While I do agree that PLR articles can cause you some issues, its also a great way to utilize your time most effectively. I very rarely use private label articles on this blog, but I do use it a lot on other sites with success. Where a lot of people fail with PLR content is they are lazy. PLR articles by their very nature can be rewritten. This is the step that most people fail to do. PLR is meant to be a helper for creating content, not to be an all out method of not writing.

At the minimum you need to rewrite at least 25% of the article and I would say this number should be closer to 50% in order for you to receive the best result. There are some methods you can use to rewrite an article in a minimum of time.

  1. Rewrite the title — This is crucial and probably the most important part of rewriting. Choose a title that contains your keywords, but don’t accept the title as it is in the PLR article.
  2. If the article does not have  a summary paragraph then write one from scratch. This does not need to be very long. Just summarize the article in three to four sentences. Read the article and make your summary consistent with the article. One thing to keep in mind is once you go through the rest of the article you may need to revisit this summary and modify it based on what is changed through the rest of the process. You can do this part later, but I find that writing my summary first helps me with the rest of the process.
  3. Once you understand the article, then start rewriting paragraphs one at a time. Rewriting may include removing redundant content or just rewording sentences. The way I do this is to look at the paragraph and totally rewrite it above or below the current paragraph. One I’m through I just delete the original paragraph and move on to each paragraph.
  4. Once the paragraphs are modified I will write a conclusion which is pretty much a repeat of the summary with minor changes.

If you have done these things then PLR content can be a great method for increasing the content you have available for earning revenue on your site in the shortest and most economical method. Most PLR packages can be bought for only a few dollars and if you hang out in Internet Marketing forums such as DigitalPoint or the Warriors then you can find a lot of package for free. Keep in mind that the free packages you may find may need a little more rewriting before you realize the true potential. Good luck with your PLR rewriting efforts.
