Ecommerce Web Hosting

eCommerce is the wave of the future, and it is very difficult for an eCommerce business to be successful without a good web hosting service. As the proprietor of a web hosting business, your website is everything. It is your calling card and the portal to your goods and/or services. Without it, there is no business.

What eCommerce Web Hosting Means to You

That’s why it is so important to have an eCommerce web host that has what you need, specifically, the willingness and ability to help you set up a great site that is easy for your clients to use and easy for you to modify to meet the needs of an ever-changing client base.

What to Think About With eCommerce Web Hosting

When looking for an eCommerce web host, you should be considering a number of factors. You want a host with maximum uptime, so you’re ready to do business 24 hours a day. You want a host that offers top-notch support so you can get technical problems resolved fast. You want a host that will help you design a site that you can get into and redesign as easy as moving the furniture in your office.

Finding Your eCommerce Web Host

There are plenty of great web hosting programs out there. All you have to do to find one for your eCommerce site is a little research. Compare and contrast hosting fees. Think about the kind of bandwidth and disk space you will need and who can provide it. Look into the reviews of various hosting sites and opportunities from people with experience from these companies. A great eCommerce business starts with a great website and a great website starts with a great web host, so take your time and make sure you find the right one.

Media Breakaway ordered to pay MySpace 6 Million

MySpace has won another lawsuit against a spammer Scott Richter and his Web marketing company, Media Breakaway LLC of Westminster, Colorado. MySpace has been aggressively targeting people who spam their website. This is just an example of how a good thing gets abused by Internet Marketers. It was not too long ago that eBooks on how to market to MySpace and even software that helped you do this was sold throughout Internet Marketing forums all over the web. As a result you have MySpace fighting back and winning.

A lot of marketers do not think about these types of things when they post how to do something to generate traffic and then others start abusing the methods until they are worthless to everyone. That is one reason I don’t sell eBooks on the techniques I use to generate traffic. I publish posts at times that give some insight into methods I use, but i don’t publish my best secrets. Well I might once a lot of people start to figure it out and then I’m on to something else while others are spamming an otherwise effective method to the point that it does not work any longer. Wake up people and keep some secrets to yourself. You can make more money long term from the traffic than you can short term from an eBook.

Amazon Mechanical Turk

I’m always looking for other methods to earn money on the web and Amazon Mechanical Turk has some capability to earn a little bit or cash, but a better use for it is to get low cost workers to help you with your web promotion. Basically it works like this you sign up for an account and either request to be assigned an Amazon Mechanical Turk for you to perform a hit on. A Hit is basically an action. It can be as simple as providing feedback or it could be a blog review. The reviews are where it gets useful as you can us it to help build up your backlinks to a blog or other website. This is an interesting concept and it works similar to other lancing sites such as the many free lancing sites, except you could have a hundred people performing hits for you all at once. The terms are a little tough, but as long as you stick to the rules you could gain a lot of backlinks in a short amount of time, with just a little investment on your part.
