I posted yesterday about Concept Draw that was offered on Giveaway of the day. I actually just found this site really by accident by getting an email that mentioned it. I’ve been looking around and it seems like a really interesting concept from a marketing perspective. The site is built using wordpress which is interesting to me as I’ve gotten into some WordPress development as of late and they have a great layout and some interesting plugins for this application. I’m not great at PHP yet as I come from a Microsoft background, but as I’ve learned more I realize that PHP really has some potential to create some dynamic applications which perform very fast. I know I have not been posting much, but I have a good reason. First reason is becuase my wife recently had surgery and I’ve been preoccupied with it. Second is becuase the day job has been killer and I have not much felt like writing when I get home. and Third has to do with WordPress and Web 2.0.

There are hundreds of plugins for WordPress and I’ve installed and played with quite a few. but there are some that I would just love to have that I have not been able to find, Most of these would revolve around making wordpress more of a web 2.0 type application. [Read more...]
