The latest subscription offering from Big Mike at Niche Mania went live today. I’m a subscriber of the program and have been for a little while so I thought I would share my experiences. So far, I really like the service, the sites are top of the line and the research is profitable. The cool thing about a subscription like Niche Mania is that most of the remedial work is taken care for you. Niches are researched and the sites are optimized around the Niche the site it promoting. Its also great that the distribution of the sites are limited to only thirty people as that will ensure the niche does not become over populated.
I’ve launched a couple of sites with this system, I could have launched more but I want to do it correctly and not take shortcuts. I looked through the catalog and chose a couple of niches I thought I may be interested in and then started doing my own keyword research on the Niches. I found the Niches very well researched and and the keywords paying between $2-$5 on the high end. These where only for the ones I looked at there are other niches I have not looked at yet that I know pay even more. I also found quite a few lateral keywords that did not pay as well, but that could be very useful for driving Adwords traffic to the sites if you want to purchase traffic.
I had my first site set up in just a few minutes without reading the directions. I did download the directions, but that was only to give me the default login information for the administrative interface. I open the Admin interface and added my Adsense and Amazon publisher IDs.
I also wanted to change the site a little before any search engines found it, so I wrote a couple of articles on a SubNiche within the Niche and grabbed a couple of Aticles from GoArticles.com and post those in the site. This gave me some additional content so the site would not be a default installation. I also added keywords to allow for my additional sub niche keywords. The additional keywords I added did not have the reach as in number of searches that the default install had, but they where profitable and the competition was not too bad for these keywords.
After I added my additional content I pinged a couple of the ping services, I bookmarked the site on StumbleUpon, My Yahoo, and Google Personalized Searched. I then posted a couple of links on some related forums. Then I went to sleep.
In the morning, I checked stats and noticed Google and Yahoo had both crawled the site pretty deep. And I had pulled in over 75 visitors from StumbleUpon and my forum posts.
Revenue was a little over 6 bucks for that first night.
Since then I have been writing additional articles and posting to various social bookmarking sites and forums and revenue has been steadily rising. Search engine traffic is starting to pick up and the site should be averaging 10 bucks a day pretty soon. I’ve been developing some blog sites on blogger and my own domains to puch traffic to the site and build my back links.
I estimate before the site is a month old I will be pulling in over 250 uniques a day and earning $20-$30 dollars a day with just adsense. One cool thing about this Niche is the audience is ripe for an eBook, so I will write an informational research guide on the niche witihn the next couple of months and traffic I will be receiving by then will make it a very profitable exercise.
I recommend the program and not just because I’m about to post an affiliate link, but because I believe it is a quality product. I’ve purchased quite a few IM products over the years and this is one of the best money I have ever spent. If you join under my affiliate link and run into problems with installation of just need some advice on how to start generating traffic, then I will be happy to give you some pointers. The great thing about this subscription model is that you just don’t get certain things in your subscription. The subscription works on a point system so you can mix and match how you use the subscription based on your desires. Plus if you don’t use all your points in one month, then they roll over as long as you need them too. You cna purchase 4 sites per month on the system, but its probably better to not spend all your points the first couple of months until you learn how to make the best of the sites and really start monetizing your sites to their fullest potential. Like anything else this requires a little work to bring in the traffic, but with the targeted keyword research already taken care of for you this becomes a lot easier.
One other thing that is worth mentioning. Not only do you get access to your points( named Niche bucks) as a member you also get access to a wider array of tools that will help you do your own keyword research, site optimization and back link building as well as some pretty decent reporting tools on SE position of your sites.
I like the application, but there are a couple of things I would change. One is to make it easier to update meta tags and add links to external sites from every page, such as a footer editor of some sort, but this is not a biggy and can be taken care of by editing the php files.
Hi Bruce, nice to read your review about niche mania.i really am interested joining niche mania, but still not sure what i will get there, that’s why i am still wondering around and look for some more.
Last week i tried the plrpro $1 trial, but did not continue to normal membership, since their normal membership is very expensive :$97 (well, for people living in my country, its like a month salary).
Other thing that made me reconsider plrpro is, there is too many people sharing the same article, some of them just post the article in plain vanilla, no change made at all. It had me to rewrite the article to be 50% different, i even rewrite some of them to 100% to avoid dupe. And it was hard process for me to do, rewriting cost me 30-60 minutes each, unfortunately my rewriting is not too good as well…

Niche Mania seems quite acceptable for me. Considering i am a newbie in this Internet Marketing world, do you have any suggestion which package is for me?
FYI : i run my own shop here in my country, but wanted to have some “passive income”
