Stop taking shortcuts

I don’t know if I’m alone in this or not, but sometimes I try to take shortcuts. I bet a lot of people do. Its taken me a while to realize this but in the Internet Business, don’t do it. I’m not saying that you should not try to automate as much as possible and use the tools at your hands to make your tasks more efficient, just don’t take certain shortcuts.
If you spend anytime at all on various forums then you are probably barraged with a lot of different ways you can make money on the internet by doing nothing at all. I’m here to tell you it just ain’t true. You have to work to build a profitable site. You can’t just crank up a site generator and instantly start earning adsense or affiliate revenue from those efforts, at least nothing substantial. For one thing these types of sites are never going to generate the needed traffic. If you get a visitor to one of these generated sites then you can bet they will not be back and they are definitely not going to tell their friends or link to your site.
Put love and care into your sites. Write the content or hire another human to write it for you. Don’t use the article directories for your content. Create something unique and they will come. This is not the easiest way to build out sites for fun and profit, but in the end this is the only way that will consistently produce results. Content is King and it always will be the King. Don’t take shortcuts with your future you’ll work harder in the end than you would if you just put in the time and effort to build a quality site.
