Office 2007 has been released to MSDN subscribers. This is a long awaited release that should help a lot of users be more productive in their tasks. The new system hosts a wide array of features including a ribbon menu that allows you to find the most used items very easily. It takes a little getting used to but after a while I have come to like it. I’ve been using Office 2007 since Beta 2 and while there have been some bugs in the Betas it has still not been too bad. I just downloaded the entire suite and will be installing it tonight. One application I have not played with much is the Beta copy of One Note. One Note is a fairly decent note keeping application. I’ve used the 2003 version to keep track of Blog posts. It makes it really easy to keep your ideas organized which works well if you are trying to keep track of multiple Blogs and ideas all at the same time.Â

Someone posted this on the Warrior Forum the other day and I thought it was funny. If you need a laugh and are as tired as I am with all the various EBook sales letters people get bombarded with everyday. Perhaps you can see some similarities between this sales letter and other ones you may have read http://www.buymystupidebook.com/

I was surfing around GoDaddy this morning( I’m such a nerd). I wasn’t really looking to pick up a domain name this morning, but I decided to search for my name and see if it was available. Brucehopkins.com and all the variants have been registered for quite a while and I have not been able to pick them up. BruceHopkins.com was a real-estate site of a gentleman in Arizona. Well it seems as if he let the domain names expire. I missed this when it happened and I probably should have paid the fee to grab the names, but I did not and the .com name was already registered even though there is not a site there yet. Well.net was still available so I grabbed it. I’m not sure exactly what I’m going to do with this name yet. I may just do this blog and then set up subdomains or what ever strikes my fancy.
I need to find another Wordpress theme besides this default theme and maybe I’ll search for one of those later today.
If I keep a blog here then it may just become an output for my ramblings or I may dedicate it to the Internet Marketing Business. I’ve been toying around with earning money online for the past few months and I’ve been able to do okay with that. I’m not ready to retire yet, but I’ve made a few dollars here and there. I do realize there is a lot of false information out there on Internet Marketing and I may decide to make this just a resource for people starting out in this business and help them not make mistakes others have made.
Well this is enough for a first post, there will be more later.
