In order to effectively utilize Adsense on your sites one you need to know which keywords have the best profit potential and two you need to know keywords that have low competition in the SE’s as this helps you to get traffic. A lot of times it is hard to find a keyword that both pays well and also has low competition. The key to this is to find sub niches of a niche that has low competition keywords while still having higher paying keywords in the more competitive niche. For Example: Say you want to target one of the health words which pay very well, but this is a very competitive Niche. You may be able to use a long tail keyword match which has low competition associated with your health Niche and your site will still show the higher paying ads. Since these are usually related your visitors will still click on the higher paying ads. This is very hard to do with just the free tools.
