I ran across a site today named 25 Peeps.com. Its an interesting site and something that seems to have been online for quite a while, I’m surprised I have not ran across it before, which goes to show how big the web is and how many gems are still out there waiting to be discovered. The way it works is that people submit their personal weblogs with a picture and then people visit 25Peeps and if they like your picture then they click through to your Blog. For a kick, I submitted this blog. I’m not sure when it will be up as the submission has to go through a moderation process. It may bring in a few visitors although the only picture I had on this machine was not very good and from looking at the Top 100 Peeps, I don’t believe an Internet Marketing Blog will be voted on very much, but who knows. This site really complements my posts on Traffic Generation. This one site could bring in a couple of hundred visitors or even more. If the site submitted had some sort of mass appeal or controversial content, then its quite possible the site could receive a lot of traffic in just a little while. The 25Peeps main page has a PR5 so if you could get a site on the front page and keep it there for a few days then its very likely it will leak some Page Rank to your site.
There are thousands of sites on the internet that work similar to 25 Peeps and sites such as this can be a good source of traffic as well as decent back links. Now a lot time this traffic is not targeted and as a result will not convert well, but if you look there are also sites out there that are on particular niches and if your niche is close to their topic, then you can bring in targeted traffic through these methods. That traffic is much more likely to convert than traffic obtained through more generic means such as this site. The point is that if you get out and really research your niche then you are much more likely to find ways to increase your traffic in a manner that will provide visitors that will convert on your site. Get out there and find these sites it will be well worth your time. The more you experiment and spend time looking for new alternatives the more you will understand what motivates your visitors and what you need to do to increase your conversion factors. Traffic without conversion is useless, but in the same right working only on conversion factors without knowing your traffic is also useless it takes analyzing several factors to come up with a solution to earn money in any niche.
