Blog Posts Worth Reading
Things you have missed, Tips for Success, Speedlinking, and many others. I’m sure you have seen these sort of blog posts on some of the more popular blogs throughout the web. Usually they consists of four to five links to other blogs( usually popular blogs) within the blog’s niche. Such as
- Alexa Rank of TopBlog
- SEO is Dead. Long Live the other SEO
- ZEN Habits applied to Blogging
- The Albert Einstein approach to Successful blogging
Sometimes these are linked as above and sometimes the blogger will add some descriptions to go along with the title. I’ve noticed tis for a while but it did not hit me until recently what exactly the reason for these posts where.
They could be filler for when you don’t have any thing else to blog about and that was what I always assumed the reason was, but there is another benefit. These bloggers are building backlinks to their blogs and at the same time developing additional content. You should be doing it too.

As for the reasoning behind link posts are you on the right track, but there is more to it than that. If you click my name will you not only see how I do it, but also find additional information and links about it.
Jan you make some good points. Blogging is about building relationships and something everyone should be doing to remain or become successful.
