Blog Spam

I find it amusing at some of the spam I get in the comments of this blog. I’m up to about 30 a day so I guess I’m getting popular. I really need to set up that Askimet plugin, if I could figure out how to get my API key I would but I guess I lost or deleted it when I first signed up for my word press account and I can’t seem to locate a link to get them to resend it.

Anyway back to my point. Not only do I get the average grow a certain part of your body spam as well as some others that make this old sailor blush, I also get ones trying to promote affiliate links to money making products. Now I’m sure these are just bots going around and hoping someone does not moderate their comments, but this is a blog about internet marketing. I wish the spammers would start writing some well thought out comments and then I would approve them. Of course I would change the affiliate link first to one of my choosing. Come on I do earn money from the net and I’m not exactly stupid.

I know I have not been blogging a lot lately and its because I’ve been pretty swamped at the day job and some other activities like the Squidoo Challenge have consumed a lot of time. I promise I’ll be back soon in full force writing about ways to improve traffic or just make a buck on the net.
