The programmer in me is really excited about possibilities that Silverlight will bring to the web development world. I’ve been playing with this platform off and on for a few months and I really like it. I’m by no means an expert or even really an advanced newbie with the Silverlight technology at the moment, but I’m coming along. Seems that Microsoft has put together 4 and 1/2 hours of free silverlight training that you can get on Lynda.com. If you want to get your feet wet with this new silverlight technology you may want to take a look at these silverlight videos while they are still available.
If you are not familar with SilverLight then you may want to do some research as I’m sure it will become a popular part of Web 2.0 or Web 3.5 or what ever you want to call the current direction that Web applications are taking. Silverlight allows you to mashup data from different sources and provide that information to visitors in the format that provides them with unique and pertinent information based on their preferences. As more and more people start to utilize Silverlight as a development platform thne you should start to see some really interesting applications on the web that do way more than what is currently available.

I need to do some research on silverlight.!
